Household Tips Dishwash Dilution Diluting dishwash liquid saves money and wastage. It washes better too. Use a small empty soft drink plastic bottle. Punch a hold in the cap with a large nail. Always fill with 2/3 water first to avoid overflow of suds. Fill up balance with dishwash liquid. Shake to mix well and squeeze bottle to use. Note: Filling dishwash first will generate lots of suds when adding in water
